The apartment was terrific – close to town without being IN town – and the radio part went quite well, too. We toured the island and did some snorkeling, too.
Els and Charl were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. This was my second stay and Ellen’s first on Bonaire
– it won’t be the last! –
Location is just out of town so a car is a must, Laura and I wanted private and quiet so this was just perfect for us. It may be a little out of town for some people but Bonaire is not big so nowhere is to far away. A car is a great idea on Bonaire to visit all the tourist locations so it is a good idea to rent one. Charl and Els can give you help and advice on this. Holiday home is very clean and perfectly laid out with AC in both the twin bed rooms. Both bedrooms have 2 x single beds with bedding provided and changed weekly. Cooking facilities are great with a large fridge and all utensils for cooking. Bathroom has a hot/cold shower but we never used the hot as the normal water temp was fine for us. Towels are provided and are changed weekly. Outside space is large with seating and BBQ areas. Best part for me was the pool, this is private and is exclusive to the holiday home, water was always above 32c when we visited in September. A great way to relax after a day out sight seeing or for just chilling for the day. Pool area also has sun beds. You can sit in the garden area and watch the Iguanas and lizards running about all day, wildlife on Bonaire is just amazing. We really enjoyed our stay with Charl and Els and plan to return in 2019, fantastic hosts always on hand to help with any issues or to give local advice. 10 out of 10!!
